...so we're still alive!

so we aren't dead. we are still very much alive. after the few events in august and october we took a break, but we are now back to it.

we are currently working on a lot of new stuff...'stuff' - i know, very descriptive. we are working on a new webpage with a much better aesthetic and it will have all of our new shirts and hats as well as art work and other knick knacks and accessories.

on november 4th, we will be in beautiful santa barbara for the New Noise digital music conference...check it out HERE!!!!

as we move forward, we started a Movember team with our buddies at Cowboy Comb. our team is public which means anyone can join. if you're not familiar, it's a month long event to raise money for the fight against prostate cancer...all you got to do is let your mustache grow, and ladies can participate to by rallying people to donate to the team. GET INVOLVED!!! For more info go HERE or join our team HERE.

and oh so much more to come...cheers!

Events!!! Old and New

Last weekend, we had a vendor booth at the Spencer Mackenzie's Block Party. It was a blast!! Thanks to all of our friends that came out to say hello and thanks to those we met for the first time. The music was good and we were lucky enough to be placed right next to Pablo Surf and Ventura Makos. The weather was incredible and everytime our setup gets fine tuned more and more...check it out:

We do have a few new products - we have the women's mandala tank top, and we have the men's pick pocket tee. I will do my best to get those up on the web. Otherwise, they will be available at the next event...that will be the ALOHA BEACH FESTIVAL, September 9th & 10th at Ventura Point on the Promenade Parkway. Come visit us and say hello. We will have all our goods complete with art prints.

See you soon. Cheers.

Mustaches go trans-species

This horse has a mustache and apparently refuses to let his owner cuts it off...by refusing I mean he runs away. Nevertheless, us humans aren't the only ones with mustache appreciation.

For the whole story check this out FULL STORY.
thanks maureen, for sharing.

Booth Metamorphosis

The first event we went to where we had a booth was the Hokuloa. We managed to throw it together a bit last minute, but it was at the beach so at least it felt like home. It went well for our first event. There were a few women who ran up the booth frantically yelling 'I LOOOOOVE MUSTACHES??' and God bless them.

This is how our booth looked, conveniently placed right next to the recycling depository.

A month or so later, we had a booth at the Johnny Cash Music festival at the Ventura Fairgrounds. We definitely had our act together...at least a bit better than the first event. We went out and got sheets and decor to help out presentation. check it out:

We met a bunch of really cool people, a lot of different people. It was quite entertaining actually. When I think 'Johnny Cash Music Festival' I think older folk rock / country, so when a bunch of greasers in sick cars showed up with a tattoos and piercing, I was caught off guard, but loved it. There was also a pin-up girl competition, so there were a ton of girls dressed up in a manner that I only thought existed in old playboy cartoons...fantastic! I apologize for not having any pictures of that.

However, we met a bunch of rad people...this is the only pic I have - two of the many mustache enthusiasts:

Thank you all for the friendly conversation as well as supporting the cause. Cheers.
